                               ORDINANCE NO. 10330
        
        
                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO AMEND ARTICLE XI, SECTION 101 (2) AND (3)
                   AND TO PERMIT ANY CASE TO BE HEARD AFTER A
                   NINE-MONTH (9) PERIOD.

              	   BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
         CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as amended, 
the
         Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is hereby amended as follows:
         	   SECTION 1.	  That Article XI, Section 101 be amended
         by deleting Subsections (2) and (3) in its entirety and
         substituting in lieu thereof the following:
           
            (2)	 Provided, however, that a petition for rezoning or to
                 close and abandon shall not be accepted for a period of 

                 nine (9) months following denial of a previous petition 

                 involving the same property or any part thereof.
           
         	   SECTION 2.	  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that this
         Ordinance shall take effect two weeks from and after its 
passage
         as required by law.
